Acceptable Use

QuoteBash is a tool for running a trade business. This is the short list of things that will get an account suspended. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

Don't

Use it to send anything to people who haven't asked to hear from you. The send feature is for quotes and invoices to your own customers, not marketing to a bought list.
Put other people's personal data in it without a reason to hold it. Your client book, yes. A list of leads scraped from somewhere, no.
Store special category data — health, ethnicity, religion, biometrics, union membership. The product isn't built for it and it doesn't belong on an invoice.
Use it to defraud anyone, including issuing invoices for work that doesn't exist.
Try to reach another account's data, probe for weaknesses without asking us first, or run automated traffic at the service.
Resell QuoteBash as your own product, or share one login across separate businesses.
Upload malware, or anything you don't have the right to hold.

Security research

If you think you've found a security problem, we want to know. Report it to [contact address not yet configured] and give us a reasonable chance to fix it before telling anyone else. Test against your own account only — never against another user's data. Report in good faith and we won't come after you.

What happens if you breach this

For most things we'll tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to sort it out. For anything involving fraud, other people's data, or attacks on the service, we'll suspend the account immediately and tell you afterwards. Either way you'll be able to get your own data out.
